Our Mission

Mission Statement

We are focused on promoting unity of the global church by:

  1. Creating a forum to explore and discuss issues, ideas, concepts, principles, and approaches related to effective ministry, while presenting the information in a clear, balanced, and fair perspective.

  2. Ultimately connecting individuals who are actively involved in effective ministry, and providing them with a platform to share their experiences in order to expose local churches to different perspectives and approaches to ministry.

About Us

Our names are Cody and Josh. We have been friends for more than ten years and have served together in our local church since high school.

Cody has a MA from Moody Bible’s Seminary, after already earning a BA from Moody Bible Institute. He is married with children and has experience as a family pastor, youth pastor and pastoral resident at different churches. Josh has an B.B.A. from Cleveland State University and has worked as a civil servant for almost ten years. He has also been involved and led youth, men’s, and children ministries during that time. Both of us have experience with intercity and suburban ministries and understand how uniquely different.

We both love the church and want to see it fulfill it’s Christ-given mission as written in Matthew 28. We are creating this site to be a resource for individuals that want to effectively minister to the people in their communities.

 Our Goals

Encourage Cooperation

We hope to encourage local churches to take a more cooperative and collaborative approach when reaching the communities to which they belong. As we look around at local churches, there is a visible trend and tendency towards competing with each other, as if other churches are the enemy .We understand that each church is unique, with it’s own unique culture and capabilities, and we believe that if local churches work together they can more effectively reach their communities and be a force of change in their cities.

Explore Ministries

There are so many people around the world who are actively changing the lives of the people they interact with. From the person running a multinational to the person who disciples a player on their soccer team to the person who sweeps the floors at church, there are people who are following God’s personal calling and effectively ministering to people everyday. We want to really take the time and ask the questions,”What does effective ministry look like? What do they have in common? What lessons can we learn and apply to our ministry?

Foster Fellowship

We do not want ever replace someone’s local church. Church and fellowship is extremely important and we encourage everyone to find a church or Bible study that follows Scripture, prays and worships together and supports and encourages we other. We strive to make everything we present to be a resource for those communities and help them foster fellowship within them and with other churches.
